Monster Mania is a 5 reel, 9 payline video slot machine. This means there are five spinning reels from which to form your winning combinations. For every coin that you put in you enable another payline. When the reels stop, the computer checks the combinations of symbols along each enabled payline.
Monster Mania has a wild symbol, and a scatter symbol, the maximum payout is 1,000 coins.
Wild Symbol
The Monster Wild symbol is wild symbol. The Monster Wild symbol substitute for all other symbols except for the Scatter Brain symbol to complete a winning combination.
The Monster Wild symbol only appears in reels 2, 3 and 4.
Only one winning combination is paid out per payline. If there is more than one possible winning combination on a payline, you are paid out the value of the highest combination only.
Scatter Symbol
The Scatter Brain symbol is a scatter symbol. This means that it does not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win.
The Scatter Brain symbol can be scattered anywhere on the five reels provided that three or more Scatter Brain symbols appear.
Winnings are calculated by multiplying the number of Scatter Brain symbols by the total number of credits bet.
Example:
1. One Scatter Brain symbol and one Monster Wild symbol, scattered anywhere on the five reels, does not complete a winning combination. A minimum of three Scatter Brain symbols completes a winning combination.
2. Two Scatter Brain symbols, scattered anywhere on the five reels, does not complete a winning combination. A minimum of three Scatter Brain symbols completes a winning combination.
3. Three Scatter Brain symbols, scattered anywhere on the five reels, completes a winning combination. Three Scatter Brain symbols payout the total amount of coins bet multiplied by 10.
If you have selected a 0.25 coin and 9 Paylines, your total bet amount is 0.25 x 9 = 2.25 coins. Therefore your total payout is 2.25 coins x 10 = 22.50 coins.
4. Three Scatter Brain symbols, scattered anywhere on the five reels and three Snake symbols on an enabled payline completes two winning combinations.
Three Scatter Brain symbols pay out 22.50 coins and three Snake symbols pays out 10 x 2.25 = 22.50 coins. Therefore the total payout is 22.50 + 22.50 = 45.00 coins.
