Whats Cooking is a 5-reel, 30-payline video slot machine game. This means there are five spinning reels from which to form your winning combinations. For every coin that you put in you enable another payline. When the reels stop, the computer checks the combinations of symbols along each enabled payline.

Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot
The Progressive Jackpot game called Dollar Ball is exclusive to all Playtech online casinos; you are not required to play.
Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot is a lotto-type progressive side game where you pick 5 numbers out of 49. Then once you start the main slot machine game, five numbers will be drawn randomly.
The more numbers matching your selection, the more you win. If all five numbers match, you win the Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot.
Dollar Ball resides in the top right part of the screen. Click Enable to play the Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot. You will see a set of numbers, from 1 to 49. Click on any five of them to select manually (click again to deselect), or click on Random pick to have it done for you automatically.
If you want to change the selected numbers, click on any number to start again. Click Activate to hide the numbers and confirm your selection. If you want to cancel the Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot game, click Disable.
Your numbers will be shown in a row of squares at the top of the screen. Once you start a round of the main slot game, the drawn numbers will appear just below them in the circles. If any of the numbers match your selection, the squares will change color and your win amount will appear below.
Your winning amount will be added to your balance along with any winnings from the main slot machine game. You don't have to have a winning combination during the slot machine spin to win the Dollar Ball side game.
The Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot will be played along with every spin of the main slot machine game, with the same numbers, until you either change the numbers or disable the side game. The paytable for Dollar Ball can be found in the main slot game paytable.

Wild Symbol
The Cooking Stove symbol is the wild symbol. This means that the Cooking Stove wild symbol substitutes for other symbols to complete winning combinations.
Multiple Cooking Stove wild symbols on an enabled payline create winning combinations as shown in the "Regular Payout Schedule".
The Cooking Stove wild symbol does not substitute for the Chef scatter symbol or to complete a winning scatter combination.
The Cooking Stove wild symbol does not substitute for the Cookbook Bonus symbol or to activate the Whats Cooking Bonus Round game.
Note: Only one winning combination is paid out per payline. If there is more than one possible winning combination on a payline, you are paid out the value of the highest combination only.
Scatter Symbol
The Chef symbol is a scatter symbol. This means that Chef symbol does not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win.
The Chef symbol can be scattered anywhere on the five reels, provided that three or more Chef symbols appear.
Winnings are calculated by multiplying the Chef symbol combination payout, as shown in the "Regular Payout Schedule", by the total number of coins bet.
The Cooking Stove wild symbol does not substitute for the Chef scatter symbol or to complete a winning scatter combination.
Note: If you have a scatter win and a normal win, you are paid out for both wins, as the Chef scatter symbol does not need to appear on an enabled payline to win. The scatter win is added to the payline win.
Whats Cooking Bonus Round
The Cookbook Bonus symbol only appears on reel 1, and reel 5.
When the Cookbook Bonus symbol appears anywhere on both reel 1, and reel 5 at the same time the Whats Cooking Bonus Round game is triggered.
The Cooking Stove wild symbol does not substitute for the Cookbook Bonus symbol or to activate the Whats Cooking Bonus Round game.
In the Whats Cooking Bonus Round game you get to choose the amount of Free Spins, and your Multiplier Value for those Free Spins.
The number of Free Spins ranges from 3 up to 20 and the Multiplier value ranges from 2x times up to 10x times.
If you get Cookbook Bonus symbols on the first and last reels during the Free Spins, you are not taken to the Whats Cooking Bonus Round instead the game randomly selects one of the possible outcomes of the Whats Cooking Bonus Round and adds the corresponding amount of Free Spins to the existing Free Spins.
Note: Your win Multiplier value does not change.
When the Free Spin Bonus Round game is complete, you are returned to the regular Whats Cooking slot machine game and your Free Spin game wins are added to your win total.
How To Play
- Choose your coin size by clicking the (+), and (-) buttons on the slot machine screen.
- Choose your line bet by clicking the "Bet Per Line" button. Each click adds a coin to the payline bet.
- Once you've reached the maximum amount, clicking the button again will reset the line bet to one coin.
