War of the Worlds is a 5-reel, 4 rows, and 100-payline video slot machine game. This means there are five spinning reels from which to form your winning combinations. Three or more Fighting Machine Bonus scatter symbols scattered anywhere on the five reels activates the Fighting Machine Bonus Feature game.
The War of the Worlds Logo symbol does not substitute for the Fighting Machine Bonus symbol or to activate the Fighting Machine Bonus Feature game.
There is no line win attached to the Fighting Machine Bonus scatter win - only entry into the Fighting Machine Bonus Feature game, which itself guarantees a win.
When you enter the bonus round, you will see the introduction screen showing details of the Fighting Machine Bonus Feature game. The idea of this bonus is to shoot as many of the Fighting Machines as you can before they shoot all 3 of your cannons.
You have 3 cannons and there are 3 Fighting Machines to shoot, each of your cannons can only shoot forwards at the machine in front of it (you cannot aim left or right, you can only adjust the power by pressing the Fire button at a different time).
When the power meter is on the amount you want then press the Fire button to fire that cannon. The cannon will then be disabled for a moment while it reloads.
If you kill all 3 of the Fighting Machines then you will get onto the next stage of the Fighting Machine Bonus Feature. There are 3 stages in total and you get a bonus of 700x times your total stake if you complete them all by killing all 9 Fighting Machines.
The Fighting Machine Bonus Feature game ends when you have no more cannons left or when you have killed all 9 Fighting Machines.
When the Fighting Machine Bonus Feature game is complete, you are returned to the regular War of the Worlds slot machine game and your Bonus Prize game wins are added to your win total.
Getting Started
When you load the War of the Worlds slot machine game you will be given the option to load the Full high quality version of the game (which has all the animations and sounds) or the Reduced quality version which has fewer sounds and animations and lower quality graphics so the overall file size is smaller and quicker to download.

How To Play War of the Worlds
Press the "Stake Up" and "Stake Down" buttons to choose a stake per line between 1p and £3.
100 lines will multiply your selected stake per line bet. You cannot change the number of lines in this game.
The total amount you have staked will be shown in the "TOTAL STAKE" box at the bottom right of the screen.
A maximum of £300 total bet can be placed on any one game.
Click on the "Paytable" button to view the paytable, which shows the potential winnings for each reel combination, scatters, bonuses etc.
Press 'PLAY' to start the game (Alternatively you can press the Spacebar on your keyboard to spin).
The reels will spin and eventually stop at random.
